Your contribution helps AFRISOTA provide culturally grounded gatherings, youth and family programs, community storytelling, research, public education, advocacy, and institutional training in Minnesota.
AFRISOTA is recognized by the Internal Revenue Service as a tax-exempt organization under Section 501(c)(3) of the Internal Revenue Code. Contributions are tax-deductible to the extent permitted by law.
The Sankofa Giving Circle is AFRISOTA’s community of monthly donors. Sankofa teaches the importance of returning to valuable knowledge from the past as we prepare for the future. Consistent monthly gifts help AFRISOTA plan programs, respond to community needs, and sustain work throughout the year.
Monthly donors receive program updates, community stories, event invitations, and an annual summary of AFRISOTA’s work.

Your employer may match charitable contributions. Search your employer’s giving system for AFRISOTA or contact us if documentation is required.
AFRISOTA may accept appropriate donated equipment, professional services, food, meeting space, transportation support, and program supplies. Please contact us before delivering an in-kind contribution.
Businesses, foundations, community organizations, and individuals may support a specific event or program. Contact AFRISOTA to discuss current opportunities, recognition, and written sponsorship terms.
